Complex client requirements? Automate them instead of paying for them

Clients often come with complex packaging, shipping, and labeling requirements. Manual internal coordination makes that expensive very quickly. ParcelPilot helps you fulfill those requirements economically and without avoidable errors.

Highlights

ParcelPilot in detail

ParcelPilot coordinates your existing systems and automates client-specific workflows. Each tenant gets its own rules without forcing changes to your ERP.

Rules belong in the system, not in people's heads

Every client means your team needs to know which rules apply to each individual order. Where is that written down? In the contract? In last year's email? That might work for three clients. But what happens at ten? Or twenty? Errors increase, workflows slow down, and costs rise. ParcelPilot automates the application of those rules: once set up properly, an exception becomes an adaptable standard. Each client can have their own workflows and requirements, and for you everything stays predictable, consistent, and economical.

  • Freight-cost optimization through automatic carrier selection
  • Combined rule chains without manual intervention
  • Central rule management instead of tribal knowledge

Process

Flexible like your operation

How it works:

Step 1
Step 1

Data intake

Orders come in in different ways: directly from your customers via API, as file uploads (CSV, XML, JSON), or through manual entry. ParcelPilot accepts all data sources and prepares them for rule processing. Whether your customer has modern systems or still works with Excel, the orders flow into the system and are prepared and validated uniformly for the next step.
Step 2
Step 2

Rule processing

Every incoming order automatically goes through the tenant-specific rule matrix. The system applies packaging rules, carrier selection, and labeling rules, etc. Example: a 5 kg parcel for customer A is automatically sent to DHL with special packaging, while the same weight for customer B is routed to UPS as express shipping. Depending on configuration, everything runs fully automatically or stops at defined checkpoints for manual approval.
Step 3
Step 3

Order execution

Processed orders are forwarded automatically to the relevant systems - warehouse management, shipping partners, or internal workflows. Example: the order goes to warehouse management for picking, the shipping label is registered with the shipping partner at the same time, and the customer automatically receives tracking information. Depending on configuration, forwarding is fully automatic or waits for manual approval.

Continuous Development

With ParcelPilot automation, you can unlock new business opportunities: offer additional services for customers, handle more complex orders profitably, or expand into new markets. At the same time, the system stays flexible - rule values can be adjusted quickly when contracts or workflows change, without much development effort. The system grows with your business.
